Default Thanks for the photos - That spring is tight !

It's great how the hands are so far up off the dial in the deep case. All around, front to back, you got an excellent watch! Thanks for the post.

Very, very nice!! Congrats.

And, don't you just love the Android packaging? I do. I do so enjoy my collection of boxes in my closet.

Thanks, all, for your kind words. I am smitten with Android. The Naval Skeleton Mechanical is my first Android, and certainly won't be my last. I am waiting (too long) for the Volcano black MOP multi-function (J176249). $87 was a killer deal on that timepiece!

I can't wait , I ordered the rosetone a week ago and it says I wont have it till the 16th. I never had to wait this long for an order BUT it's making the anticipation grow and your post has me drooling.

I wore mine today, and I don't wanna take it off. I went a TJ Maxx today, and I came across 5 skeletons. 3 Sturhlings, a Akribos and a Rotary. I had never seen a Rotary skele so I checked it out. It was ok, but small and a $299 price tag. None of them could hold a candle to the Droid I had on. This thing is big. Like I said, well worth the wait.

Does anyone know how many winds this watch needs? Also how long is the will the watch run before it stops? I wound it this morning around 11, and it stopped tonight @ 8:55.

Well Ted;

I dithered and dallied since your post. Now, this morning, my banker side hates you, but my Geek side appreciates your post. I had not seen this watch. Just got the last one in goldtone.

You wont regret it! Since I'm off work next week, I'll probably be wearing mine for over a week straight. Good purchase, I hope yours arrives faster than mine did.

Congrats, John!

Glad you gave in to your inner self that said: BUY THAT WATCH! And, thanks for your posts! Don't forget to add to the photo gallery of this fine timepiece when you get it! It does scream out for a bracelet. That will be in my future plans. Enjoy it and congrats!

Ted

When it came out of the box, it took 79 turns for a full wind. I gave it about 50 winds yesterday, and its ticking away this morning. Hope that helps MrMayface.

Default Me too!

I received the silvertone on Wed--has been on the wrist since then--awesome! My seconed Android, the other is the octogon cased skelly--auto--this is much better and the strap was much more than I expected--a weak point on the octo cased one--this is high quality and nicely matched to the watch. For those of us who like panny style watches and the strap changes they allow, I think this NAVAL fits right in there--many classic and cool looks can be made using your existing large straps on this beauty.

Well Done Wing!

PJ

To follow up;

I just got mine yesterday. The only bad thing I can say is that it bounced around a lot in the package and has a couple of very minor scratches. No big deal. If you look at Ted's pics, you can see how the watch hammering around beat the Android silvered logo right off the inside of the lid of the box. My logo is virtually gone. However, the watch is fine.

And how fine it is! This is just a silly low price for something so pleasing. Thank you, Mr. Liang.
