1. Unscrew the crown and pop it to pos.1

If you just unscrew the crown and then push in back in like the directions imply...it wont go on...the only way I found to make it work was to actually apply pressure pushing the crown away from me while at the same time pushing it in.

Hope that helps.
That sounds a bit inpractical for the light. But, I gotta tell ya, it's a great looking time piece! Enjoy!

Default I was going to purchase one, but held back at the end........

while I like the look of the watch and want an ana-digi, the way the controls were laid out is an issue. Why unscrew the crown to turn on the backlight? The X-33 has 4 pushers, that's want is required. Invicta has other watch models better suited for this movement, perhaps the SAS, Akula or the Excursion, just add pushers.
I was not crazy about the black dial either, the green or blue would have been perferred.

PS, pulling the crown in and out constantly is not is not the best thing for the stem.
I can see alot of crown stems breaking and screw threads stripping.

It seems that in the haste to produce this design, the watch case was made to fit the movement (that is, it was going to be a SAN III case come "hell or high water" and not another case design). But, I think that Invicta's most ardent fans will likely overlook this. Especially, the ones that purchased it and have come to like the way it looks.

Now, the X-33 ... that's my grail. I just can't seem to strip my own collection further to get it. But, I will, eventually.
