Default How long should it take to get a part?

My wife has a ceramic watch and and the link on the bracelet with invicta on it cracked. I called the parts department at invicta and told gave them the model # and told them what part I needed. He told me 10.00 and I gave him a credit card and he said he would order it. This was on 6-26-09. On 8-25 a part came. The wrong link. I sent it back along with the cracked part and a few days later I called and they said they had gotten it and they would order the right part. As of today 11-5 no part. I think my wife and I have been patient enough. What should we do? Thanks in advance for the help.

It should not take this long but sadly this is standard practice for Invicta. They don't seem to keep parts in stock and are known for sending the wrong ones or not repairing problems when watches are sent in for service. I don't really know what else you can do. That is why I refuse to buy an expensive model from them.

I also had a problem with one of my ceramic watches from Invicta. It needed a part to fix the bracelet. Took about 4 months. I called about once a month just to check. They did a great job on the repair but the wait was lengthy. I tried to get it fixed locally. I live in a rural section of Florida and couldn't find a watch repair person who would work on it, Two of them said they had never even seen a ceramic watch. Invicat did come through.
