Default Thanks a lot!

Thank you so much for the kind words. I am so shy it was hard to do, but Wing was very encouraging. My wife just shoved me forward.

You may have read this before, but I am visually impaired in several ways; many surgeries, etc. I'm still legal for driving. But a lot of watches, especially chronographs, are impossible for me to use. I can't even use a watch with a magnified date "bubble." I try not to whine, because it is discouraging sometimes. But I try to concentrate on the joys and successes everyone else experiences.

More details on the watch. ShopNBC had run out of the Dodecagon, but when I called Android's customer service, they honored Shop's sale price (wow.) It came with a brown silicone rubber strap, and after awhile I wanted to make a change. A very kind lady at Android helped me figure out the right bracelet and I got it in 3 days. Invicta has done one design in different colors with a big date window, and Wing has some, too. I have an older Stuhrling automatic, but can't seem to keep it running even with a winder. It's out of warranty, so it pretty much stays in the box. That said, I am grateful to any company who will help people with my needs. The Dodecagon, with the big date and the retrograde day, is my everyday watch right now. But the Tribecca Quartz is coming to a mailbox near me a week from next Monday, and the next Android shows are on my birthday!

Thank you, Wing, for providing so many choices in style and color for me.
Thanks to all of you for taking time to post. I feel like I'm starting to fit in and that's hard for me to do.

Bottom line, you didn't miss anything on Shop, my friend.

[quote=SoonerJim;893150]I love my Dodecagon. I decided to replace the brown rubber strap that came with it. Wing's customer service folks were very helpful figuring out the right one for me. Here's how it turned out. Yep, that's me modeling the new push button stainless steel bracelet. Fortunately I'm a very good pharmacist.

Thanks to Wing for all the help and to Karan my bride for taking the pictures.[/quo

Great looking watch.. congrats..!!

Default Perfect Prescription

Jim, That watch looks great on a bracelet ! This is the first personal pic I've seen of the Dodecagone and the Retrograde with Big Date really kicks on the dial. Thanks for the post.
