Default Anyone want to meet Andras (Barta13)?-Reservations made!

He's coming to the States for the first time in a couple weeks and staying in Boston's North end. He is available to get together on Tues., the 24th. Planning on meeting in town some where and having dinner. I know a tuesday is tough, especially thanksgiving week but thats when he is available. He really would like to meet some Geeks, it may be the only time he can come here. We'll work on a location and time and post it here when we know. Thanks. Reservations made at Venezia on the water in Dorchester. Tuesday, Nov. 24th @ 6PM. They can NOT do separate checks on this big a party, so keep this in mind! Hope to see some there! Reservation is for 20. venezia-onthewater.com for directions and info. http://venezia-onthewater.com/

Rick, I can't but I do hope that some watchgeeks can make it. I would really like to meet Andras. He is a great guy and a wonderful friend.

Andras if you read this, I wish you a very safe trip and have fun in the USA.

Sincerely,

Nathan

Ok, bud, was thinking Venezia in Dorchester. We used to go there for all our gangs birthdays (around 12 times per year). Great italian and can handle us with a reservation.

I don't even own a pair of pants or own a coat, how cold is it over there and how cold will it be next Tue? i have seen 65 Degrees before, trucks don't even come with a heater from the factory down here or houses.

He seems like a really cool guy. One of you should volunteer to mail watches for him since the Shop doesn't ship overseas. I've always felt bad for him.

Someday when I go to Mecca I'd love to have coffee with him. Safe trip!

Yeah, its been nice 50's-60's, but a cold front coming through the next 3 days, 30's-40's. I'll get you pants and a coat! You're pretty big though, huh?

One of those times one wishes they weren't stuck out here on the left hand side of the country...That, and wishing there was a bit less real estate in the way. Give my best and know I will be there in spirit. I would love to meet him.

Wish I could make it as I'd love to meet Andras and some of the rest of you on the East Coast. Unfortunately, it's not in the cards for me. Let us know how it goes.

I'll be there in spirit because I can't leave here. I hope to meet Andras Barta13 in my lifetime but this time I'll rely on all you guys that can. Tell me about his cool accent and take some pictures. :-)

My usual sucky timing. I'll be in Rhode Island starting the night of the 18th but I'm flying back home the morning of the 24th! Just in time to miss this GGT!

This would be a great place, just i might add it's a tad fancy-er than most WGGT.
Rick, you have been there more than I. Is there a dress code over there? Example- dress casuwal -shirt and tie....?

I would really like to meet him, he has contributed a lot, with great emails and photos.
Unfortunately, I will not be in the States at that time but look forward to reading a lot of positive comments about him and his visit to the States.
Regards,
Manny
