I think you should focus on the common denominator, the movement and the complication(s) you would want on a watch, then brand and finally, their CS/Warranty. But if it is about brands, Tag, Oris, TX, Invicta, Brietling, etc...

It comes to price, Omega, Breitling and then there is Invicta. I have many fine watches but seem to find myself wearing my Invicta's. Many great designs from Invicta. If dollars are ok the Omega Planet Ocean with the orange bezel is a fine watch, perfect size.

While I have a least 15 different brands in my collection (I like watch diversity and don't focus on brand label or trend), it have been my experience that one may not get a better made/value than some Seikos...one may not find better creatively than with some Androids...one may not find more timeless/classic pieces than with some Philip...IMHP

There are alot of brands that I love like Rolex and Corum but when I wake up and come back to reality I would have to say that Invicta offers alot for your money. Android offers some really nice watches for the money also and they offer alot of new sharp modern styles.Watch Jim's shows on shopnbc(look-listen-learn) Then come back and ask some of the experts on WG, there are alot and always available if you have questions. I read the posts almost every day and learn something new every day.

For a wide variety, plenty of brands that offer all types of watches.
My personal choice is Omega. But its really hard to stay within just one brand. You end up missing some very fine watches. Theres not one brand that has every type of watch made.

I'm a newbe here but have a lot of different brands, Omega, Accutron, Citizen, Bulova, Stuhrling, Android, Renato, etc. but I would have to agree with the majority here that Invicta gives you the most interesting and diverse line with the most bang for the buck!

I have one Invicta which I happily wear as a "beater" - it's the "original" diver, basically a Rolex copy watch.

My favorite brand is Breitling but I like products from Tag Heur, Longines and Casio.

My dream brands are Cartier and Chopard..

The majority of my watches are Invicta, so I would say Invicta. But I also really like the Bulova's.

I've owned more Rolex than any other . . . so they have to be in my top 3.

I've owned many, many Omega timepieces spanning 50 years or more (not me . . . the watches), so Omega makes the top 3.

I'd now have to put Oris (the last Top 3) and Gevril ahead of Invicta, and I only mention Invicta in passing as they are plummeting down my list.
