Default Sector Poker Watch

This is a late post but I came across the watch again on Ebay and got frustated about what could have been such a great watch. I remember a couple years back when it came out and being excited about a poker watch since I play cards. When I saw the pics though I was so dissapointed it was so poorly thought out. The slogans on the bezel were so corny that ruined the watch completely I may have been able to overlook some things but that was too much. I just wish that they would have put some real thought into that watch because I believe that if they had executed it correctly a ton of people would have been all over that watch especially with the current popularity of poker in the country and at the time the watch was made poker popularity was at a fever pitch they would have done really well. I know this was a pointless post because the watch came out so long ago but just wanted to get that of my chest because I was so excited about the prospect of the watch when I heard about it and so disapointed when I saw the execution.

Pers...

I agree that they could have choosen some better words, but the watch is really great.

I would never use the removable bezel for a card holder and when you take the bezel off, the watch doesn't look as good, but I did take it off once. Ever since I can't get it put back on correctly. The words end up upside-down when it is screwed back on tightly. Argh...

But, It is a fun watch and one that I enjoyed wearing in Vegas, even though I play the machines...

Sorry you didn't get one, but it sounds like you didn't really want one afterall...

Magster,

Yea I wish they hadnt even put words on the bezel or made it removable. They could have put some #s along with the suits so that you could use the bezel to calculate the time when the blinds would go up next (as some of my friends and I use our watches to do) Also they should have had a green dial to match the felt on most poker tables. There is so many details they could have put on that watch and they didnt. I have put a lot of thought into because I had always wanted some kind of poker watch. I was just dissapointed, when I first heard of the watch I had such high hopes that when I saw it and the watch didnt live up to those expectations I kinda dismissed it. Felt like they just kinda cashed in on the poker craze and didnt do all they could have. But I do agree with you that the watch is perfect for Las Vegas there could not be a better place to wear it than there. And to anyone that has the watch I def didnt mean to downgrade it just voice my disappointment at what could have been

No worries... you are just stating your opinion and that's cool.

I agree with your "changes" and that they would have been better...

Maybe they will make one again????
