I just got a call from my local Ball AD, informing me that he just got in some Deepquest models. Unfortunately, Ball did not produce the silvertone dial with the three dimensional arabic numerals. Furthermore, he said, they have no intention of doing so at this time. I was told that it was too complicated an application. Too bad, since that was the only version that peeked my interest. That stated, Ball is really top notch and should be included in one's search for their next grail piece.

This is too bad. I am so in love with this model, so much so that it has now become a grail for me that I want to own. The mad cow white dial was #1 but now has been bumped by this Deep Quest model. Larry - do you think it may be a reality one day or should I stop dreaming at this point and continue my search for the "mad cow"?

Danny, I can only go by what my AD told me. If you're really serious, spend some time calling Ball ADs across the country to get a concensus. I just may do that myself.

I have been wanting to make that "One" special grail purchase. You know what I mean, going above and beyond your usual comfort zone. After spending some time at Balls website and done a good bit of research on them over the past 6 mos. One thing I have concluded. If I were going to make an investment in a high end timepiece, it would definitely be one of Balls offerings. Their lineup of watches are second to none imho. I don't think you could ask for a better engineered piece. They are a little pricey to me, because up until now I haven't paid more than $1200.00 for any watch, but you undoubtedly get what you pay for. They have had my attention for some time. This is a real possibility. Thank you for sharing this.

Picked up an DeepQuest about little over a month ago. Haven't stop wearing it yet. Really like this one.

would agree, fine pedigree, and very outstanding quality...
