Happy new year Mike. I hope you had a good Christmas also. Anything new in the stable? My wife bought me the Deep Blue Depthmaster 3000. Black dial. Beautiful piece. I also ordered an Android Skyguardian power reserve. Brown execution. They had it on their 12 days of Christmas sale and I caved on the last day. $89. Not bad for a great looking watch. Automatic. Hoping all is well with you my friend.
A Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours as well Mike. Enjoy the holiday season my friend. We have so much to give thanks for. Finally received my Vostok Watchgeek piece. Kinda cool but I had to send it back. Needs a repair. Something wrong with the minute hand being loose. Oh well, things happen.
look foreward to seeing the new pieces. Been working out of town haven't had much time lately for the site or watches in general. Been just enjoying what I have for now. Anyway really looking foreward to Thanksgiving going to my folks for the week in California. Hope all is well in your life and see you next time we get together.
Hey Mike, how are you? Hope everythings going ok. I was watching the 3rd anniversary Deep Blue show about a month ago and they offered the Depthmaster 3K for the crazy liw price of $498. All of the colored dial options sold out quickly and the Debbie came and said she orderede the black dial version for Christmas. I remember Gradwohl once saying he returned one cause he didn't like it. I'm stoked though.I also picked up the Vostok WG Ltd. Ed. from a fellow geek. Due in a few days. It'll be my 1st Russian. Full lume dial, Vostok auto movement 24 jewel. NBZ for a while
Hey bud, I picked up an Android Corsair skelly tonight for $99. Got the black/red. Couldnt say no to the price. Android regular price is $400. Anything new in your stable? My daughter finally got married on 9/21. It was a really great time down in Bend Or. What a great place Bend is. Never been there beforr but I liked it a lot. Hope all is well Mike.
The Antigravity Tungstens are beautiful pieces with the best MOP available. I just wish they had higher end movements. They use the Seagul TY2806 automatic. It's got a jumpy second hand but apparently this is normal for the movement. Doesn't affect accuracy at all. I still wish Wing had used either a Miyota 9000 series or maybe a SII NH35. But a Tungsten case, Saphire crystal, automatic for $75. I couldn't pass it up. This will be my 4th Android Tungsten. I have a Virtuoso with a 2824, an Infini with a 10 year quartz, and now 2 Antigravitys, Jade MOP and Grey MOP.
